Meet affiliated faculty and learn about our newly formed center, opportunities for student internships and research, and our monthly educational offerings. The Atlantic Center for Population Health Sciences is working to empower our communities to be the healthiest in the nation, in fulfillment of Atlantic Health’s vision. Serving a population of almost two million residents, the Center is focused on navigating to the future of healthcare, which we believe lies at the intersection of clinical practice, public health, and community development.

Lexi Alexander is a German-born film director. She is a former World Point Fighting and Karate Champion who, after retiring from professional fighting the age 19, found her way into film through a role in Mortal Kombat: Live Tour. While working as a stunt woman, she began directing award-winning films including Johnny Flynton and Green Street Hooligans. Other films include the cult classic Punisher: War Zone and the spiritual movie Lifted. She currently lives and works in Los Angeles.

Film Forum, sponsored by the Filmmaking Program in the College of the Arts, is a weekly program for MSU students and the public. The program features contemporary filmmakers who come to speak about their work and profession in an open forum that invites audience members to ask questions and hear personalized inside stories from some of the most innovative filmmakers in the region. Admission is free and the full season runs throughout the academic year
